You will be joining our Data Engineering team at an exciting team. We are building out our next generation data platform using a fantastic stack of leading, modern, cloud-based data technologies. We won’t stop there and we are always keeping an eye on new tools and trends which can benefit us. We are also working as part of our international group and you will have the chance to collaborate with colleagues on global initiatives.
This is an important role for us as we look to grow our data platform and capabilities to help us really leverage our investment and tools to drive innovation and value from our data assets. You’ll be a key part of our mission, knowing being great at what you do all goes towards helping a greater social good.
You’ll be part of a small, friendly, collaborative team We have a really open, flat team structure where everyone’s thoughts, ideas and experiences are equal and welcomed. People’s Postcode Lottery is a not-for-commercial-gain organisation owned by Novamedia, the creators of the postcode lottery brand.
Novamedia was established in 1983 with the goal of contributing to a better world through the operation of charity lotteries, media and publishing activities. Its sole objective is to support charitable and social initiatives worldwide.
The first Postcode Lottery launched in the Netherlands in 1989. People’s Postcode Lottery launched in Britain in 2005 and has since been joined by lotteries in Sweden, Germany and Norway.
Novamedia and the Postcode Lotteries was ranked the world’s third largest private charity donor in 2019/20 and the second biggest in Europe.
With a belief that the world benefits from strong social organisations, our mission at People’s Postcode Lottery is to help raise funds for charities and good causes and increase awareness of their work.
Postcode Lottery players have now raised over €12 billion for thousands of charities since 1989. We’re the 3rd largest private charity donor in the world.
