Analyst at SCF Partners, Aberdeen.
Take a look at the role…
Thank you for your interest in SCF Partners.
We are in business to provide both capital and expertise to enable entrepreneurs and businesses to achieve their ambitions and potential. Our success is founded on the deep investing and energy sector expertise that has been accumulated since inception and our collaborative approach to managing our portfolio companies. We have completed more than 300 investments and distributed in excess of $4.5 billion to our investors, and it is our genuine desire to do the right thing by our portfolio businesses which truly differentiates us.
Headquartered in Texas, our team of 20 professionals manages in excess of $2 billion of invested and uninvested capital from our offices in Houston, Aberdeen, and Adelaide. Our strategy is to identify sectors within the energy services industry that have a positive growth outlook and work closely with entrepreneurial leaders in the field to build successful companies. Historically we focused on companies in the oil and gas sector, but more recently our investments reflect the increasing prominence of a broader mix of energy and sources including LNG, Renewables, and other technologies that contribute to the energy transition.
This role offers a unique opportunity to build a career within one of the most respected private equity firms in the world, working alongside a small group of highly successful investors and entrepreneurs. We are looking for someone who fits well in our team, who is intellectually curious, self-starting, enthusiastic and diligent, but who likes to have fun and has a good sense of humour.
We look forward to your application.

Since 1989, SCF Partners has supported entrepreneurs and provided equity capital and strategic growth assistance to build leaders in the energy services and equipment industries. We work with great entrepreneurs and management teams and, together, build companies that are going to last and become leaders in their industry. We currently oversee in excess of $2 billion under management and have built more than 70 platform services companies, completing over 300 growth acquisitions through partnerships with energy services and equipment entrepreneurs.
We are in it for the long haul. Our financial partners share our belief that the soundest investments are those which grow steadily over time. We identify sectors that demonstrate solid, long-term growth, then partner with the best and brightest entrepreneurs and business leaders in those fields.
We positively disrupt and regenerate the industries in which we operate. SCF has a strong desire to continue to diversify our portfolio capability and coverage, and are committed to making our portfolio businesses more valuable by embracing new ways of thinking, being more collaborative with adjacent industries, remaining progressive in investment decisions and by placing more emphasis on the journey of energy transition.
